(More customer reviews)I really like these snow shoes! They have a neat visual design. The main retention strap is large, padded, and glove friendly with a big ratchet adjustment. The spikes on the bottom are well placed, and there are a lot of them. The design quality is also great! It really feels like these snowshoes will last.
Unfortunately I had a problem where the heal strap was digging in to my ankle causing injury. I was in contact with the company who said they had never seen it before. The person I talked to was very helpful, but was unable to solve my problem. Maybe it is because I have small feet, or maybe my boots are too soft in the back. The rear strap is a solid stiff plastic which looks good in the picture, but if it was a soft material it wouldn't have the ability to dig in.
I really want to keep these snowshoes, but I can't if they are going to cause injury to me. My recommendation is that if you have a larger size foot (I'm size 8) or your boots are stiffer in the back then go and buy these because they are a great snowshoe. I only had one problem with them. Unfortunately it was a deal breaker.
