(More customer reviews)Yes, they are comfortable pair of boots and good pair to show off even if you are just SF-wannabes.Good for light-duty hiking and daily use.My friend in the service got me a pair because PX sells Oakley stuff at about 50% off the retail price.They are not for heavy duty.I have a desert version.They are not very breathable after some wear....even indoors. They would be good boots at about $100 at the most.Black version doesn't even have Gore-Tex materials.At almost $200, they should.If you plan to shell out that much cash for a pair of boots, I recommend Danner or Altima.They'll last you heck of a lot longer and your feet will appreciate 'em.Danner's desert version has Gore-Tex materials.For those of you who never had that type of boots, the difference in terms of comfort during extended wear on your feet is night and day.You can re-sole them as well after wearing out the bottom.Not possible with Oakley.Oakley make good products, but some of their pricing just doesn't make sense to me for what the products actually deliver.But if a cool factor matters more than functions and you don't mind shelling out a few hundred bucks, go for it.

adidas Men's Megabounce+ Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)Wow. What a difference these shoes are compared to all the other shoes I've ran in. I was using a pair of New Balance that I've had for a year and they decent shoes I thought. Actually they were complete crap after I put these shoes on. The difference was night and day. The cushion that you get from these shoes is pretty massive. I actually walked on my heels for a few seconds just to feel the really nice 'squishiness'.

I was diagnosed with arthritis when I was 19 and I've had trouble with my entire back (mostly lower), hips, and feet. I was unable to do anything until I found a medication that has supressed my arthritis (Enbrel). So for a while there I got really fat because I used to work out a lot and eat a lot, but then I had to stop working out...but the eating continued..lol. It's taken me quite awhile to overcome the laziness and get back into shape.

Now when I work out I take precautions to not jack my lower back up and also hurt my feet. I started using an Eliptical to help with the shock to my lower back and feet. After about 25 minutes on the machine, my feet start to go numb from being stationary for so long. With these shoes, my feet still become numb, but it's not as bad and it takes longer for it to happen (usually around 35m). Also I started to hit the track. Only running a lap or two for now (after the eliptical). I was really scared about it, but I had to see if I could handle it. Surpisingly I can, and I dont have ANY pain during the run, after the run, or even in the morning when I wake up.

Since I ordered these online from a different retailer, I wasnt sure what size I should order. Sometimes my shoes will be one size or half a size higher. So I order a size low since my running shoes are always the smaller size. When I got the shoes, it came with inserts that could make them half a size smaller. So that was nice...though I didnt need them. Whether they come with Amazon like that or not, I'm not sure.

Also the shoes are SLIGHTLY narrower than I'm used to, but it didnt bother me since I dont have Hobbit sized wide feet.

The addidas symbol is reflective as well as a little piece on the toe of the shoe. Havent really thought about looking in the back to see if there is a reflective piece there or not.

The only gripe I have about the shoe is the top portion where your toes go. The bend area for your toes is a little rough at first and you'll have to break it in. I was a little aggraveted at this, until I realized at the end of my workout it wasnt bothering me anymore. So after a week of using these, they should be broken in.

All in all...these are some really good running shoes. If you are thinking about getting them, then go for it.

One last thing. I got the white ones with a hint of black. Not the ones I really wanted, but they do look pretty good. I'll take pics sometime soon and upload them.

(More customer reviews)I've wanted one of these ever since the movie came out.At this price I was expecting it to be a rather tacky, thin, blow-molded version - well, OK, it IS tacky, but what I mean is: this lamp is SOLID, people!It really is surprisingly good workmanship, much sturdier than the one in the movie.Mom would have a hard time breaking it with her watering can in a convincing way.

The leg itself is very thick plastic (which helps give it that warm, golden glow of electric sex when the leg part is lit up by itself as a sort of nightlight) and the wooden base is nice and heavy, so it is not top-heavy even when you put on the sturdy, high-quality (black-fringed, of course!) lamp-shade.The black fishnet stocking is made of real fabric and can really be pulled down, if you've a mind to.And I swear the spiked-heel shoe really is a real red leather stiletto (about a size 5, I would guess...)It has a three-way switch so you can light just the leg, just the top, or both.

I couldn't be more tickled.The box even said "FRAGILE" on it.(That's Italian, you know!)Oh, and in case you're worried: no, it did not come packed in a ton of excelsior, thank goodness - but it did arrive well and safely packed. I have put it in my front window and expect to be the envy of all my neighbors.If you have always wanted to do the same, this is the year!

ECCO Women's Dhaka Lo GTX Hiking Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased these hiking shoes primarily as they are waterproof and I believed ECCO made a very high quality product.As I was preparing for 2 weeks of vacation in Alaska and typically work a 9-5 desk job, I wanted shoes that would be comfortable for walking yet still waterproof and supporting, I'm not really a "hiker", but wanted solid footing.

I wore these shoes at most a dozen times around the house to break them in doing some gardening and errands.They are very comfortable; which is more than I can say for most leather hiking shoes right out of the box.Imagine my surprize when getting off the plane on the first day of the two week vacation that I purchased these shoes for, and the bottom rivet on the laces of the right shoe has broken away.The one at the toe end of the laces???That one doesn't even get tightened or pulled on.I frankly cannot believe the rivit would have any reason to break.

If the shoes had not broken within the first several wearings I would highly recommend them, as their materials overall are wonderful, but they did break and I have been unable to find any place within the amazon website to contact for any repair.For that reason one star is all I can recommend.

I do high impact aerobics 4 days per week and run on occasion and although this is a running shoe, it does wonders for aerobics. Much better than any other shoe I own, and I have quite a few - Mizuno, Nike Shox, NewBalance. I get compliments on it almost every day in the gym; everyone wants to know where I got them from. The size is true to form, and extremely comfortable with a wide toe area - makes my feet look a bit smaller as well.

I also noticed that they run a little big. I wear a 10.5 so I ordered that size and there was a lot of extra room in the toe area, almos too much. Teva Men's Ossagon Hiking Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this product based partly on the excellent past performance of prior TEVA sandals I have enjoyed.

I chose this model shoe (6001-Men's Ossagon Hiking Shoe in dark grey) primarily for wear in the urgent care medical clinic where I work 10-12 hrs per day, almost all of which is on my feet.(lineoleum over cement slab)In the clinic, my feet stay comfortable all day long in this shoe.

I had been previously very impressed with the grip of the spider rubber sole on wet surfaces.I had a pair of Teva sandals with this specific sole for about 7 years of hard use before the uppers gave up the ghost.(The soles were still in acceptable shape.)I was always very impressed with this sole's grip on even wet smooth floor surfaces like smooth tile and linoleum.

This security of grip is maintained with the Ossagon shoe as well--I've simply never seen the equal of Teva's spiderrubber sole for traction on smooth wet surfaces.

I also recently had the opportunity to use this shoe for its intended purpose as a trail shoe.I put it to a pretty good test on desert sandy soils as well as slickrock hiking and some moderate free-climbing on the desert trails in Arches National park and other hikes around Moab, UT.I put them to the test on 4-8 hour hikes wearing a 30+ lb pack starting at 4500-5000 feet elevation.Some of these hikes had some pretty good exposure to elevation on "slickrock" ledges and fins, some of which were only about 6-10 ft wide and with a 40 ft drop on one side and 400-500 foot drop on the other!My footing felt secure at all times, and my feet were comfortable all day as well.

I like the style, even though it was selected for more practical reasons.The photos on this website, as of this writing, are a pretty good representation of this shoe's looks, so I'll let you be your own judge as to looks.

All around, comfort, style, traction and durability (so far, anyway), this is a very likeable shoe.I had bought it on the strength of brand satisfaction with a previous product.Of course, brand loyalty can be a fickle mistress.However, like it's predecessors in my closet, this shoe has thusfar really come through.I don't have anything negative to say about them at this point.
