MSR Denali Classic Review

We are first time snowshoe users: I am 175lbs and my wife is 112lbs.We quickly learned to use the bindings, no problems, and walking in them is a breeze. They are very light andthe flex allowed to the foot makes walking very natural and not clumpy. The ice-cleats are rock solid.ONE issue was the tails that I got and shown on the Denali Classic page are NOT, NOT made for the Classics. The 6" tails are for the EVO only. When I called MSR (not open on weekends) the woman sounded like this was a very common complaint and I can see why since Amazon has it listed as ok.Otherwise the product is very easy and fun to use. The 4" and 8" tails are fine for the Classic.

TSL Men's Take The High Road Aluminum Snowshoes (25-Inch) Review

TSL Men's Take The High Road Aluminum Snowshoes

I really like these snow shoes! They have a neat visual design. The main retention strap is large, padded, and glove friendly with a big ratchet adjustment. The spikes on the bottom are well placed, and there are a lot of them. The design quality is also great! It really feels like these snowshoes will last.

Unfortunately I had a problem where the heal strap was digging in to my ankle causing injury. I was in contact with the company who said they had never seen it before. The person I talked to was very helpful, but was unable to solve my problem. Maybe it is because I have small feet, or maybe my boots are too soft in the back. The rear strap is a solid stiff plastic which looks good in the picture, but if it was a soft material it wouldn't have the ability to dig in.

I really want to keep these snowshoes, but I can't if they are going to cause injury to me. My recommendation is that if you have a larger size foot (I'm size 8) or your boots are stiffer in the back then go and buy these because they are a great snowshoe. I only had one problem with them. Unfortunately it was a deal breaker.

Redfeather Snowshoes Hike Snowshoe Kit Review

I have used two pair of snow shoes. These and my friends.

For these shoes:
Pros: stay on well, work well.
Cons: hard to get on.

My friends shoes had rachet type bindings. They were easy to get on but slipped constantly and I was tighening them all the time. Once my foot actually came out and I fell. I would take mine in a heartbeat.

I've owned the evo's for 2 years now and I couldn't be happier. floatation is satisfactory considering the width of 8" The 6" tails help alot bringing the overall length to 28" The bindings are very strong and easy to put on. The traction is second to none :o) I live in a mountain terrain and have put them through some abuse, and the traction on ice and rock is the best by far. The overall construction of these shoes are very strong. No worries there like other brands. Very nice carry bag as well. 5 stars all the way :o)

I had only tried snowshoeing a few times before purchasing these and i love them.i had gone enough to know i wanted to buy my own and was a little discouraged with the high prices of other snowshoes at sports stores like dick's and ems.I did some research on these and decided to try them.not only do they grip incredibly well but the strap system is amazing.

other reviews i had read about other snowshoes complained that the straping in system was not tight enough or came lose too easily.theres are great becuase they have awesome toe support as well as a behind the heal strap and over the top strap.snowshoed in them for 3 hours without having to adjust anything.
