These are fine for a stroll but I clearly prefer aluminum to these. They were akward, felt like they were sticking to the ground and were heavy.

The flexible hourglass shape of the frame allows for a natural stride and comfort while providing amazing float in soft snow. The six point crampons underfoot, steel toe crampon, and lateral traction bars ensure a solid grip in a wide range of conditions. Comfort is dialed in with a precise ratchet buckle ankle strap and rubber sound and shock absorbing system under the heel. The Escape also has an easy to use climbing heel lift and the ability to lock down the heel for packing your snowshoes away or packing down a campsite. Additional Series 7 crampon sold separately for additional grip. Comes in a storage bag.
