(More customer reviews)The Korktrekker 3 is an excellent shoe: Lightweight, well-constructed, strong gripping treads, extremely comfortable, and of course quite good-looking for a hiking shoe. It is perfect for either exploring moderately challenging terrain or just walking around town. Unlike so many shoes out there these days it required no breaking-in or adjusting period but felt like an old friend on my feet from day one. One word of warning: Sizing may be slightly wonky, as I, who am normally a 7.5, found the shoe to be true to size but my friend who normally wears a 10.5 went all the way down to a 9.5 to find his fit. This might be the sort of thing you need to buy in person, but if you get the right size, it's a great purchase.
