(More customer reviews)An amazingly light and fun shoe to run in. The heel is shallower than it looks in the photo because it is deeper than the yellow rubbering on the outside. I'm loving the minimalist design which makes my asics feel like hikingboots in comparison. It is a great shoe for fore/mid foot running. Can't believe I'm the first review because I think zoot has a real winner with these shoes. It has no arch support, or at least very little, so if you are looking for support this is definately not the shoe for you. However, I am subscribing to the belief that less is more. The sole is very thin but the cushioning is good. It fits the same size as my regular shoe but some people may like a more snug fit so you may want to try on first. It has a nice soft sweat absorbing lining so it is comfortable without socks. Most importantly, it is really light and makes you feel like you are flying. Highly recommended. Dump those heavy clunky shoes and get back to the the fun that running should be.

(More customer reviews)I am terribly disappointed with these shoes. I am only thankful that I tried them out BEFORE my race! I was so excited when I received my new Zoot Ultra Race 2.0s. I threw these cool looking kicks on and started my Tuesday morning run. After twenty minutes the backs of the Zoot Ultra Race 2.0 shoes had rubbed painful holes into each of my achilles'. If I had been in a race I would have either continued running and destroyed my ankles, or had to stop and take a DNF. For $150.00 one would expect better engineering from Zoot! I'm sure the shoe works fine if you wear socks, but that is contrary to their intended design! You can see what I'm talking about by looking at the picture of the shoe. That back piping rests on your ankle and rubs and rubs and rubs and rubs....! Zoot MUST know this, and yet they sell the shoe anyway, and at an exorbitant price! I don't know if Christal Nyliin is still active in the company, but if she knew that Zoot was selling products that actually HURT the racer, she'd be appalled.

From now on I'll just take the weight penalty and wear my good old Asics. They've never let me down.
