(More customer reviews)This is simply a great shoe.It is supportive but does not interfere with feeling the ground.I use it to cross train and while it is not cushioned I feel very secure and able to jump, lift and balance any weight in any direction.Excellent shoe for training your body in multiple planes of motion.It doesn't matter if I'm doing deadlifts, plyometrics, or single leg balance exercises, this shoe keeps me focused on what's important and not what's on my feet.

I am a trainer and coach and have used lots of different shoes including top of the line Nike, Adidas, etc.I am always picking these up for use in my studio.

On another note:I truly respect Scarpa as a company:the quality that they build into each and every product shows in every detail.There's a lot of stuff produced in Asia right now that is more expensive and falls apart in 8 months.If you are particular and like solid, functional design, you will like Scarpa's products and these shoes.
