(More customer reviews)This is a very comfortable shoe. It flexes very good as you walk, and it weighs a considerable amount less than steel toes. There is room for your toes to move within the confines of the composite toe. The size seems to run larger than you would think. So I would recommend you order the correct size and not get any bigger to accomadate thick socks. So far so good although I do worry about the fact that the shoe is glued together and not sewn, so we'll see how it holds up.

(More customer reviews)I do a lot of walking -- sometimes in rough terrain -- every day and use my feet to move piles of dirt frequently too.These boots hold up well with the tread wearing off before other things go.I have gone through several pairs in the past 3-4 years.

The best thing about them for me is that the fit my somewhat "duck-shaped" feet (wide at the ball, narrow at the heel) in a way that few other shoes/boots do.(I have had to give up X-C skiing because I can't find shoes that don't give heel blisters.)I can't tell how well they would fit someone with a wide heel but the design of the boot heel seems to be quite accommodating.
