(More customer reviews)I wore out the last LaCrosse 8" boots after 5 or 6 years and my only complaint was that your pants got caught on top when you got out of the car. That doesn't happen with the 10" which go up inside your pant leg further. They also are warmer and very easy to get on and off with thicker socks with the side zipper.
