(More customer reviews)I wanted something more stylish than athletic shoes for walking to work. These boots are perfect. They go with anything I wear, look good, and feel great to walk in all day. I am a teacher and spend lots of time on my feet walking around the classroom. My feet a very happy in these boots. I just wish I had ordered a second pair while there were still some in my width, because I don't want to wear anything else.
If I had two pair I would use one pair for walking and work and the second pair for camping, hikes, and the beach. Now I am using my single pair for everything and I have a feeling they are going to get beat up pretty fast. (So far so good though and the scuffs and dirt cleans off easily with a slightly damp cloth.)
I am not sure how waterproof they are, but I have worn them in light rain and through dewy grasses without getting wet feet or staining the leather.
