I have been wearing the Hurricane for at least 10 years. While there have been subtle and usually positive changes to the model, this last one is baffling.I had a Hurricane 10, in fact have worn through 2 pairs since last spring. This last one was not even close to what I had been wearing. It felt too small, the fit was strange, and it also felt soft and "smushy", for lack of a better word. Not the Saucony Hurricane I have loved for years. The only other difference between this one and the previous two (which I would rate 5 stars) is the color scheme - green and silver instead of blue and yellow. Are the green ones made in a different factory with less oversight?

Needless to say, I returned them (and got dinged with albeit modest return shipping charges even though I had ordered the same thing in the past and have an Amazon Prime shipping account). It's back to Zappo's for me with regard to shoe purchases of any type. Not sure if I will stick with the Hurricane now.Perhaps I willtry another brand.
