(More customer reviews)As a long-standing Redback wearer, I can attest that the boots are terrific.Redback has found a winning combination of durability, light weight, and comfort that other makers have tried and failed to copy.BUT....

Sizing continues to be a headache.I placed an order for Size 10 US on this website (yes, I'm sure the order said Size 10 US).A couple of days later, a pair of Size 10 UK arrive at my doorstep (Size 11 US).After a call to Barebones, I returned the box unopened and a properly sized pair (Size 9 UK) arrived shortly thereafter.Everything's great, right?With the boots, yes.But 3X shipping costs (once for the first pair, once for the return, and again for the right pair) for the seller's error definitely soured the deal.

If you're considering these boots - and I highly recommend them - be sure to contact the seller directly to ensure you're getting the right size...the first time.

5 star boots, 2 star buying experience.

They are very quick and easy to put on and get off, that is another advantage in my book many styles aren't. They also have a wide size selection.

Oakley Men's Tactical Six Hiking Boot Review

(More customer reviews)I have been buying tactical boots from Oakley for six years now.I normally break the last on a pair of boots (Magnum, Bates... etc)in about four months (215 lbs - size 8 feet: not a good mix!!)The treads on these Oakleys will go before the last breaks and boot becomes floppy.The traction is great and the ankle support is what you would expect.Easy to put on, easy to lace, looks good... this is as close to the perfect boot as I have found!!

I highly recommend!
