(More customer reviews)These boots are very comfortable and light. I haven't tested the snake proof material, and hopefully I never will get the chance to, but the boots come to my knee which adds that much more feeling of protection.

My old boots have metal zippers, and with as much dirt and grime that gets in them they are hard to zip. These LaCrosse boots have heavy duty plastic zippers and they glide smooth as butter.

The boots are a breeze to get on, a little tough to get off, but I'm sure after a few more wears they will break in and my foot will slide right out.

But it's a lie, first day I passed through a stream about ankle height and the left boot leaked then the right boot. Did not stay in stream long. Socks was soaked. I really believed in this product and was SO disappointed when this happened. Was going to buy more LaCrosse items but changed my mind when this happened, I am very upset by this. REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED. Be careful when buying! Or better yet, DO NOT BUY ITEM!!!

(More customer reviews)I have used several types of Snake boots in the past including Danner. These are by far the best on the market. After about a few hours of walking they seem to mold to your feet and are very comfortable to walk in. I am comfortable that they are snake proof due to the quality materials they are made of. The only drawback is they are fairly expensive.
I have had these about 6 months now and used them extensively this past deer season. They seem to be holding up well.

(More customer reviews)I tried these boots on locally and ordered them here. I like the boots. My feet get cold so I like the 1000 grams of thinsulate. The soles are plenty hard and a little slick in my tree stand but that is not a big deal. These are definitely cold weather boots, not for hiking as much as they are for sitting on stand. They seem well build like all Danner's so I think they will hold up. I would buy them again!
