(More customer reviews)I was a little worried that the shoes would not fit because I'm not very familiar with the european sizing chart, but they were a perfect fit. This shoe is both though and comfortable, they have generous toe room and the insole offers very good support, the outsole has an agressive patern that grips the soil very good. The waterproof membrane is not stiff or uncomfortable like other shoes and boots that I have owned, this shoe feels like a sneaker. The outside leather is soft but looks like it can handle a good hike through the mountains, I recieved more than I was expecting and the price I payed was a bargain at $50.00, but I would still buy another pair if they were in the $100-$130 range, I probably will look for another offer and get a second pair, great shoes!

(More customer reviews)I am a 5'6" woman courier for FedEx and am on my 4th pair of ecco boots.Women's boots are too flimsy and in and out of a truck 100+ times a day, I need ankle support that women's boots do not provide.Each pair of eccos have lasted 12 months or more!The other day my manager was complaining that he needed a new pair of boots and he proceeded to show me the soles of his 6 month old shoes (mind you he does not put on nearly the mileage, on his boots, that I do) that he'd paid $70 for and the tread was completely gone in places.My boots on the other hand, which I've had over 12 months, show lots of tread left.He balked at the $200 price, but for me these are worth every penny.They are light weight and do not require a break in period.I prefer the Track II High style the other style I did try but returned because they did rub.

ECCO Men's Track II Low Gore-Tex&#174 Oxford Review

(More customer reviews)These are my only business casual shoe. I have low arches and plantar fascia injury to both feet with bone spurs. I can put a couple of miles on these things in a day with no problem, whatsoever. I can do a lot of walking at my job and could not tolerate it in anything else other than a very select group of athletic shoes. I've had two pair of the boots and four pair of the shoes over the last dozen years or so. I put a lot of miles on them and wear them 4-5 days a week, all day. Yes, I've had one pair of the boots and one pair of the shoes, where the soles have disintegrated. However, this was after a ton of wear and very high miles. Other shoes people have said will hold up (i.e. New Balance, Rockports, Vasque, Merrill, Soloman, Red Wing, all have significant wear in the heel (flat edges, rolled heels, busted seams) that make them equally intolerable at a similar amount of miles. Of course, you cannot resole the Ecco's. That's one disadvantage. I obviously have no problem recommending or buying these shoes and have gotten great service and comfort from them. The fact that they are waterproof is a big plus. I hate the price and always look for a bargain. But, for my feet, I've found no shoe that can replace the Track II's.
