(More customer reviews)I like these shoes a lot(size 13).Very well constructed.Solid feel.Cool(temperature-wise). They were a bit brighter than I expected(purchased mail order), but dulled down after some use.Have gotten a couple positive comments about their appearance.I felt they were a bit tight around the ball of the foot, but I was still able to use them.And after kind of surrendering to that - they did kind of break in to the point where they fit nice now, though a bit wider there would be nice, but for trail shoes I would think they fit well.I would buy another Vasque shoe after this experience.

(More customer reviews)Great trail runners. Fit well and very supportive. Goretex is great. If you develop a bulge/ soft spongy bubble under both heals this is a defect in the shoe. I'm told it has been fix but unless you get them from Vasque it is hard to tell. The outsole separates from the center of heal/cushion area. The resultant bulge causes the characteristic squeeking on wet or smooth surface floors. Vasque offers a 1 yr warrenty and can/ will remedy the issue during that period.My pair started within the first 2 weeks of wearing. Vasque makes excellant products. I've used a pair of their Sundowner GTX's for 2 decades. Like most manufactures, an occasion issue slips by on production.Hope it helps.

(More customer reviews)I buy a lot of shoes. I love most of the shoes I buy but my purchase are more on price and style. Rarely, do I seek quality first. This is the one time I went with quality first and ended up with both a great price and a very stylish shoe. It is a great light trail hiking shoe. Resistant to mud and bends with the uneven terrain. Great for quick ascencion with many switch backs and protects ankles and heels well in the descent. Just as good as a workout shoe as hiking. The fit is great both with thick or thin socks.
