(More customer reviews)I was suggested this shoe by a salesperson in a brick and mortar store as an excellent cross-training shoe, even though it's technically a running shoe.(I have a pair in black, and always get asked where I got them when I'm in the gym)

I am a beginner at working out, but have to say that even for a newbie who weighs more than she should, (and therefore has feet/ankle issues) these shoes are by far the most comfortable, supportive "tennis shoes" that I have ever worn.An hour at the gym, or walking in my neighborhood, and my feet are no worse for wear.Even wore these when doing day-long (6:00 am - 7:30 pm) walk-thoughs at hotels and downtown events, and was still not complaining at the end of the day.

Definitely worth the price!!!

(More customer reviews)These shoes are a great buy for anyone who needs a neutral cushion shoe with a soft, pillowy feel.I bought these after having my feet and gait analyzed and have been incredibly happy with them.They are fairly light for the amount of cushioning given and they have been perfect since my first run in them.I wouldn't recommend them for over pronators or supinators or anyone needing a motion control or stability shoe, but for a neutral cushion shoe, I'm extremely happy with them.

(More customer reviews)I have worn Asics for years and "upgraded" to the Kayano 15 after my Nimbus 9's started to wear out.I usually order my true size, 8.5 B, and don't need to size up.However, these shoes, even when the laces were loosened to try and increase the toebox area, were still a bit snug across the toes.I ran in them 3 times and developed blisters on both sides of my toes each time.I paid a lot of money for these shoes and have always been very happy with my Asics in the past, but these did not live up to my expectations.They are a bit stiff also, but do provide good cushioning/support as they did alleviate the knee pain I experience when my shoes need to be replaced.I would advise you to go up 1/2 size for maximum comfort in the toebox which runs narrower than the Nimbus and GT2130 shoes.

(More customer reviews)I loved my Kayano 14s, so when it was time to buy new shoes, I hit the internet for a second pair. Unfortunately, they quit making them. I decided to order a pair of the 15s, but I was disappointed. They felt very different from the 14s, and not only caused a lot of foot and ankle pain, they also made my lower back hurt. I sent them back and went to my local running store where I was introduced to the 16s. According to the store, there was a pretty quick turn around between the 15s and 16s. I feel the 16s compare much better to the 14s. My first time out in them, I was able to go 9 miles with very little toe-rubbing/breaking-in issues.

Long story short, if you are looking to replace your 14s, skip the 15s, and try the 16s. They're a much better transition for us flat-footed and moderate pronators!
