(More customer reviews)This shoe does everything pretty darn well, except maybe a 50 yd dash. I'm not much of a heel-hooker, so I can't comment on that. But as far as edging and smearing, the JB is as good or better than any other shoe or shoe/rubber combination I've used in over two decades of climbing. I like the support of a high top, and this one is built like a HumVee. It is very comfortable in the toe area due to a slightly wider front than I'm used to.
One con: I ordered my street shoe size as recommended by the Acopa website and was unable to get my feet in the shoe. I could fit the JB inside my old climbing shoes, not that it would do me any good. Sizing UP 1 1/2 (that's One & a half) sizes gave me a perfect fit.
